Mediterranean Garden Farfalle Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch (8.8 oz) Pasta Zing Farfalle Pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese (optional for a Mediterranean twist)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

1. Heat the Pasta

Gently squeeze the Pasta Zing Farfalle pouch to separate the bow-tie shapes. Tear the top of the pouch about an inch to vent and microwave on high for 1 Minute.

2. Sauté the Aromatics

While the pasta heats, warm the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until the garlic is golden and fragrant.

3. Toss the Vegetables

Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they just begin to soften and burst. Toss in the baby spinach and cook until just wilted.

4. Combine and Serve

Empty the hot Pasta Zing Farfalle directly into the skillet. Toss everything together so the pasta is lightly coated in the garlic-infused oil and juices from the tomatoes.

5. The Finishing Touch
