Ingredients

  • 1 pouch (7.05 oz) Pasta Zing Tomato & Basil Pasta
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • A handful of fresh cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4-5 fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan or Pecorino Romano cheese
  • Optional twist: A pinch of red pepper flakes for a kick of heat

Instructions

1: Warm the Pan & Tomatoes :-Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Toss in the halved cherry tomatoes and sauté for about 1 minute just until they begin to soften and release their natural juices.

2: Add the Pasta Zing :- Gently squeeze the pouch of Pasta Zing Tomato & Basil Pasta to loosen the fusilli, then tear it open. Add the ready-to-eat pasta directly into the skillet with the tomatoes.

3: Toss and Heat :- Stir gently to coat the pasta evenly with the olive oil and fresh tomatoes. Heat thoroughly for 1 minute until everything is fragrant and piping hot. (If you prefer using a microwave, simply tear open the pouch and heat for 1 minute before tossing with your fresh ingredients!)

4: Garnish and Serve :- Turn off the heat. Fold in the freshly torn basil leaves and top with a generous sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately for an instant, high-protein Italian comfort meal!
