Creamy Spicy Gochujang Vodka Spaghetti

Creamy Spicy Gochujang Vodka Spaghetti

Looking for a high-impact, restaurant-quality meal without the hassle of boiling water or washing pots? This Creamy Spicy Gochujang Vodka Spaghetti is the ultimate fast fusion dish. It combines the rich, umami heat of Korean Gochujang chili paste with the creamy texture of an Italian vodka sauce.

The best part? You can skip the pot and pasta prep completely by using Ready to Eat Spaghetti Pasta. Fully cooked and crafted from premium durum wheat semolina, this shelf-stable pouch heats in just 1 minute and packs 14g of protein per pouch. It lets you whip up a gourmet pasta dinner in under 10 minutes flat!

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch (8.8 oz) Ready to Eat Spaghetti Pasta
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 small Yellow onion, finely diced
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, finely minced or grated
  • 2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp Vodka (or vegetable broth for alcohol-free)
  • ½ cup Heavy cream
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • For garnish: Fresh chives or green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

1. Sauté the Aromatics

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the finely diced onion, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until the onions turn soft, translucent, and fragrant.

2. Caramelize & Deglaze

Stir the Gochujang paste directly into the skillet with the aromatics. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, allowing the paste to darken slightly and release its deep savory flavor. Pour in the vodka to deglaze the pan, scraping up any delicious browned bits. Let it simmer for 1 minute until reduced.

3. Build the Creamy Sauce

Lower the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently until the sauce blends into a smooth, vibrant orange hue.

4. Heat the Spaghetti

Tear open the corner of the Ready to Eat Spaghetti Pasta pouch about 1 inch to vent. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. (Alternative: You can add the unheated spaghetti straight from the pouch into the pan sauce with 2 tbsp of warm water).

5. Toss and Serve

Transfer the warmed spaghetti directly into the simmering sauce. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and butter, tossing gently for 1 minute until the sauce clings perfectly to every strand. Top with chopped chives and extra Parmesan, then serve immediately!
